JAZ International Malaysia Sdn Bhd was first incorporated on 13th June 1991 as C.I.M. Property Consultants Sdn Bhd. The company subsequently signed an Association and Logo Agreement with Chesterton International (UK) Limited on 19th November 1991. The Chesterton Group was one of the largest and most diverse property consultancy practices in the world with an integrated network of offices covering the three major economic regions of the world namely North America, Europe and the Far East and Australasia.
The company was then registered with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers, Malaysia as a valuation and estate agency firm on 29th July 1991 and with the Ministry of Finance under Valuation and Property Management Consultants.
The company was then incorporated under the name Chesterton International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd with the Registrar of Companies on 19th November 1991. The right to use Chesterton’s name ended in 1999 and the company underwent a restructuring process. Later, the company name has been changed to PCVS International Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. on 1st December 1999.
Subsequently, on 14th February 2000, the company changed its business name to JAZ International Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and The Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents, Malaysia has granted its approval to operate on 6th June 2000.
